Hannah Callen is standing in the ring, microphone in hand.
Ladies and gentlemen please welcome "The Feature Presentation" Jake Stevens!
"Junkies for Fame plays over the PA System to a decent chorus of boos as the unknown, confident new Superstar, Jake Stevens, makes his way through the curtain. Stevens is wearing black sunglasses, a black tanktop, a black hooded pleather vest, which has a gold star and "The Feature Presentation" on the back, and black and gold pleather pants that read "Stevens" on one side and have gold stars down the other. He holds up his thumb and index finger making a "frame" around his face mouthing "Feature Presentation". Stevens makes his way down the ramp smirking arrogantly at the fans. Stevens grabs the front of a camera and tilts it making sure it's focused on him. Stevens rolls in the ring, holds out his arms and smirking before grabbing a microphone.
I see it on all your faces. As you stuff yourselves with nachos, sitting there in your two-sizes too-small Vile Ventura t-shirts, with your "Showtime" Mark Solomon hats, you wonder "Who is this guy?", but the real question is, "Who is Bret Gibson?" I know he's worked here for a while, but which one is he? What has he done? Let's be honest; nothing. Bret Gibson's been around for quite some time, and hasn't done anything that would allow me to even match a name to a face. But I've gotten myself noticed, whether you realize it or not. I made an impact without even showing up last week, I got people talking about me when I refused to come to the arena for my match with Vile Ventura. And now I'm in the running for the vacant ETR Championship, and I haven't even had my first match, so I ask "Who's the fool now?" So now I'm set to face Bret Gibson, and I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to wrestle him or give him the Heimlich Maneuver, because if history's shown us anything, it's that Bret Gibson always chokes. And of course, history tends to repeat itself. It'll repeat itself when Bret Gibson loses once more, and it'll repeat itself for the rest of this tournament, because I'm going to win, and I will be the new ETR Champion!
"Junkies for Fame" hits once more as Stevens adjusts another camera to put him in focus before smirking and mouthing "Next World Champ" as Wreckage fades to commercial.
